GET INVOLVED
Mended Heart is a registered 501c3 non profit evangelistic ministry directly servicing underprivileged communities throughout the Southeastern US and across the nations. Our goal is to spread the hope of Jesus Christ by meeting people where they are in their own backyard all the while providing them with the spiritual, emotional, and physical resources they may not otherwise have access to.
ABOUT US
Founders, Glen and Copper Bass both come out of backgrounds of hardship. Their individual story's started out in a mixture of broken homes, substance abuse, addiction, and rejection. Their journey's furthered as the Lord mended each of them separately only to bring them together later, and mold them as one to accomplish His work.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Our volunteers are diverse from all walks of life and nationalities coming together under the banner of Jesus Christ to serve the community. We at Mended Heart Ministry have truly embraced the scriptures Mark 16:15, "And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
ARE YOU READY TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE?
The outcome of things experienced in life especially negative things ultimately has to do with your perspective. How you perceive the situation affects your reaction and therefore your future. In times of suffering it is important to stay grounded in God's Word. The more time spent in God's Word, the stronger the mind becomes. God uses his Word to mold and change your perspective. In turn, the heart begins to soften. We encourage anyone to focus on the good things. In every circumstance there is always something to be thankful for. It is imperative to believe the best about a situation, and trust that God knows what He is doing. By displaying acts of faith, we begin to speak peace into existence.
"It is written, "I believed' therefore, I have spoken."
Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore, speak." 2 Corinthians 4:13
When we begin to speak out loud, hope starts to take form. It is a powerful tool. Concurrently, people begin to believe their situation will get better, and the light of hope is born. Once a spark of faith is ignited, change starts to filter up through the horizon. It is in those season of suffering that ultimately we can be nearer to the heart of God. The realization of how powerless and lost we are without the hope of the Holy Spirit allows God to step in and begin to bring peace and restoration.
"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
